Noel Oliver Brault Jr.

Noel Oliver Brault, Jr., 79, of Glastonbury, died peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025, at The Residence at Glastonbury, surrounded by friends.

Noel was born in Hartford, CT, on June 29, 1946, son of the late Noel Oliver Brault, Sr., and Rita (Bourret) Brault, grew up in East Hartford, and was a graduate of East Hartford High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Saint Louis University in 1971 and two master's degrees, a Master of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Hartford in 1986 and 1997 respectfully.

Noel worked as an Electrical Engineer for several top tier manufacturing companies during an exciting time. Noel's specialty was helping companies integrate computer technology and automation in the manufacturing process. Over the course of his career, Noel lived in the United States and Western Europe. He retired in 2011 after many years of service.

Noel often spoke fondly of his time in Northern Ireland where he had the opportunity to explore the United Kingdom and play golf at The Old Course at St. Andrews, which is considered the oldest golf course in the world.

Noel enjoyed fishing, especially with his father in his younger years out of Niantic. He was very devoted to exercise and walking. His physical fitness was important to him.

His family and friends wish to thank the nurses and staff at The Residence at Glastonbury for their kind and compassionate care.

He leaves his close friend, Lori Klimach of East Hartford; his cousins, Timothy Bourret of South Carolina, Gail Hinckley of Arizona, and Greg Turgeon of Massachusetts; as well as other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be private at his request.
