Norma Jean Camp, age 78 of McEwen, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 3, 2024. She was born on March 2, 1946, to the late Della Gertrude West VanCour and Ernest James VanCour. Norma served in the Humphreys County community as the manager of Dollar General for 20 years. She was a hard worker and cared tremendously for others. Norma will be remembered for her dedication and love to her husband, children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Lee Gerald Camp of McEwen, TN; daughter, Carlon Camp (Ricky Peake) of McEwen, TN; son, Devin Camp; adopted daughter, Cindy Baker of McEwen, TN and granddaughter, Lexi Camp.
Along with her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Martin.
A visitation will be held at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, beginning at 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Following the visitation, the family will follow with Mrs. Norma’s wishes to be cremated.
Arrangements are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
