Ora Etta Stogsdill

Ora Etta Stogdill, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Ora Etta loved fishing, horseback riding, swimming, reading books & being with her family and friends. She also loved singing church hymns throughout her day at home. She was active in her church choir, volunteered, and helped with Children's Church, VBS & administrative duties. She worked for over 50 years as an administrative assistant in various jobs. Ora Etta's legacy is one of joy, love, laughter, and a deep faith in Jesus Christ. She always wore a smile and wanted everyone to feel welcomed and loved.
Ora Etta is survived by her husband, William Glen, and her children: Glen Stogsdill (wife Becky), Tammy Works (husband Jody), Terry Stogsdill (wife Jeana), and Steve Stogsdill (wife Melissa). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mikayla Webb (husband Colin), Chandler Works (wife Preslee), Tatumn Stogsdill, Dakota Works, Maygan Stogsdill, Jaxon Stogsdill, Jayden Stogsdill, and Jaelynn and Braelynn Stogsdill; great-grandchildren: Kinsey Webb, Karter Works, Kooper Works & Kolter Webb.
The Celebration of Life for Ora Etta will take place on March 22, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at The Forestburg Baptist Church, 17065 FM 455, Forestburg, TX 76239.
She is loved by her family and friends. Her joy and positive personality will live on in everyone she meets. We are comforted knowing she is with Jesus and having the best time in Heaven.
