Pam Grubbs Douglas passed away peacefully on August, 31, 2024 with the love of her life Dr. Craig Douglas at her bedside.
She was born August 13,1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frank and Thelma Grubbs. She was one of five children. She graduated from Waggoner High School in 1965 and the University of Kentucky in 1969. She was married to her husband Dr. Craig Douglas on June 7, 1969. She taught at Seneca High School for the next four years. She was a member of the Younger Women's Club and the Junior League. She was an avid quilter and developed a passion for oil painting 25 years ago. She loved music and dancing. However, her greatest passion was being a mother to her four children Kevin (Jessica), Kristen, Keith (Jane), and Kyle (Stephanie). She has six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Craig, her four children, her siblings, Beverly Eischen (Jerry), Frank Grubbs, Debbie Dobson (Monty), and Vickie Rowe (Scott) and her brothers-in-law, Bruce Douglas, David Douglas (Kathleen), and Phil Douglas (Bea). She has numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10am Saturday, September 7th at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 330 N Hubbards Ln.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Friday, September 6th, Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Ln.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Visually Impaired Preschool Services at 1906 Goldsmith Lane, Louisville, KY 40218.
Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's "Where Louisville Goes to Remember".
