Patricia Borden

Massena: Patricia A. Borden, 65, of Massena passed away on July 31, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born one of seven children to Lloyd and Jean (Lyle) LaLonde on August 19, 1959.
Pat grew up on Jefferson Ave. and attended Massena schools. She married Michael Sweeney on August 21, 1982. They were married for 16 years and were blessed with two children, Ashlee and Jason. She later moved to Indiana and married Larry Borden. The marriage later ended in divorce.
Pat then moved back to Massena to spend the rest of her years being the fun, loving and devoted Mom and Grandmother she was always meant to be. She loved crafting, baking, gardening, and laughing with her family and friends. She enjoyed teaching those skills to her kids and grandkids, who will forever cherish those memories. Handmade donuts with Dacks were always a favorite.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Ashlee (Russ) and their children; her son, Jason (Chelsea) and their soon to be child; her siblings Carol (Wayne) Farmer, Wanda LaLonde, Jimmy LaLonde, Timothy LaLonde and Jon LaLonde.
She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother, Larry LaLonde.
She will forever be loved and missed.
