Patricia Louise Loud

Patricia Louise Loud, age 91, formerly of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 27, 1933, in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, to Richard and Dorothy (Rose) Knowlton. Patricia was a 1951 graduate of Mansfield High School. She married Carl Loud on April 17, 1954, in Canoe Camp, Pennsylvania. She was employed by Campbell School District as a bus driver.
Patricia had many hobbies that brought her joy. She was an avid reader and crocheted countless afghans for loved ones over the years. She also enjoyed solving puzzles and completing word search books. No rummage sale or thrift store ever went unnoticed by hershe loved stopping in to see what treasures she could find. Right up until the end, Patricia fondly remembered her time driving a school bus, a job she truly enjoyed. She also cherished the occasional trip to the casino.
Patricia is survived by her grandchildren: Chad and Jennie Humphrey of Corning, Bridgett and Patrick McLean of Addison, Daniel and Patrick Close of Rifle, CO, Jennifer and Paul Sands of Addison, Adam and Michele Makitra of Bath, Brandon Windows and Jenna Dart of Cameron Mills; great-grandchildren: Daniel, Taylor, Kailey, Zachary, Quay, Kendra, Emma, Cade, Alec, Kolby, Carly, Blake, Connor, Brenna, and Jayce; son-in-law: George Lopez of CA; close friends: John and Wanda Redden of Troutman, NC; and very special caretakers from Elcor: Denise, Becky and Loretta.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by all three of her children: Carla Humphrey, Paula Windows, and Cheryl Loud; and her son-in-law, Milson Windows.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, NY, on January 17, 2024 at 11:00am with Rev. Troy Preston officiating. Interment will be held at Woodhull Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
