Patricia Spagnolia

Patricia L. (nee Oliverie) Spagnolia, 81, of Wall, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Patricia was born on July 24, 1943, in Newark and raised at the Jersey Shore. She graduated from Manasquan High School in 1961 and worked at New Jersey Natural Gas before becoming the office manager for Chambers Electric in Ocean Township.
Patricia was an avid reader and loved dancing to the songs of life with her loved ones. She was an accomplished gardener and boasted the best rose garden on her block.
However, her true passion was her love of family. Patricia took great joy in hosting Christmas Eve open houses, with Brenda Lee's "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" playing on an endless loop, and countless barbecues and pool parties with abundant spreads of food. Whether near or far, she savored every moment with the people she adored, including times spent in Bermuda, Disney, Yankee Stadium, on cruise ships, and in her warm and comforting home. Her most treasured role was that of Grammy, and her two grandchildren were the apples of her eye.
She will be remembered for her unconditional love and her gift of making everyone feel welcome.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Marie Oliverie; her brother, Alfred Oliverie; her sister, Michele Kebeck; and her son-in-law, Michael Ocone. She is survived by her loving daughter, Nicole Ocone, and her fiance, AJ Gennarelli of Brick; her beloved grandchildren, Emily and Nicholas of Brick; her siblings, Alice Oliverie, Lorraine Rathjen (William), Noreen Roberts (Dave), and Marie Schultz (Kyle); her sister-in-law Marianne Oliverie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday September 7, 2024, from 10 am to 1 pm at Orender Family Home for Funeral, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736, with a funeral service beginning at 12 noon.
