Patricia Ann "Pat" Yelkich, 77, of Rensselaer, IN (formerly of East Gary, IN and Wanatah, IN) passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Rensselaer Care Center. She was born on March 28, 1947 in Oakland, IL to the late Alfred John and Nina Caroline (Dodson) Dunn, Sr. Pat attended River Forest High School. On April 24, 1963, she married John Michael Yelkich in Lake Station, IN. He passed away on November 5, 2010. Pat earned a GED from the Valparaiso Adult Learning Center in 1984 and went on to study Secretarial Accounting at Sawyer College of Business.
Pat enjoyed arts and crafts. She especially loved animals. Pat was a kind and caring woman with a forgiving heart. Most of all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by:

Private Burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rensselaer Care Center.
