Patrick Richard Butler

Patrick Richard Butler, age 77, of Painted Post, New York, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Steuben Centers in Bath, NY. He was born on June 7, 1947, in Corning, New York, to James Butler and Sara Travis.
He was employed with Tom's South Corning Collision, Retterer and Sons, along with being a member of the Laborers' Union Local #785.
Patrick will be lovingly remembered as a devoted family man who cherished his loved ones deeply. He had a passion for gardening and found joy in spending time outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or participating in 3-D archery shoots. Patrick could often be found puttering around his home, always with a kind and gentle demeanor. His presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Patrick is survived by his common-law wife, Laurie Seeley of Painted Post; four children: Tina (Robert) Leonard of Painted Post, Ryan Butler of Painted Post, Eric Butler of Painted Post, and Patricia Butler of Corning; grandchildren: Megan (Anthony) Nybeck, Robert (Kaitlin Blodgett) Leonard III, James Butler, Damien Scholl, Jacob Butler, Adriance Marsh; great-grandchildren: Riley Nybeck and Grayson Clark; brother: Stephen (Hazel) Butler of Painted Post; sister in law: Lois Butler of Corning and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Patrick was predeceased by siblings: Eva (Floyd) Welty, Ford Butler, and Roxanne Butler.
