Obituary for Paul J. Biello

In Loving Memory of a Father, Partner, and Friend Paul J. Biello, 65, of Johnston

Paul J. Biello, age 65, of Johnston, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital on December 8th, 2025. Born on August 20th, Paul was the beloved only son of the late Paul and Lucille (Fazioli) Biello. He is survived by his devoted partner of over twenty years, AnnMarie Cuomo. Paul leaves behind his two children: Paul R. Biello of North Providence and Merissa L. Couto and her spouse Luis of East Providence. He is also lovingly remembered by his three cherished grandchildren-Jacob, Isabella, and Mason-all residing in East Providence.

Paul was a proud graduate of Classical High School. Throughout his younger years, he split his time between Rhode Island and Florida, embracing the vibrant lifestyles of both states. Known for his great personality and zest for living, Paul was often affectionately teased for living a "Margaritaville Life."

He was a proud member of Local 1033, dedicating his career to communications as a dispatch operator for the City of Providence. After retiring, Paul found joy working at Wingate Residences, providing transportation for the elderly, a role he especially enjoyed and where he continued to touch the lives of many.

Raised in a loving and traditional Italian family, Paul cherished the "goodies" and customs he grew up with. His love for boating and the beach was matched only by his favorite pastime: relaxing in his hot tub with a cool cocktail, savoring life's simple pleasures.

Paul has gone home to join his parents. His presence, sense of humor, and beautiful smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace until we all meet again.

Services for Paul have been entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home. In accordance with the family's wishes, services will be private.
