Pauline Rose Melfi

Pauline R. Melfi, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home in Matawan, NJ. Pauline was a lifelong resident of Staten Island before settling in Matawan, NJ for the past 2 years. She worked as a Confidential Secretary for Nursing Administration at Richmond University Hospital for many years. Mrs. Melfi was a member of the Women's Auxiliary for RUMC and served as the President of the PTA for PS 30 in Staten Island. She was an avid bowler but her true passion was spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren. Pauline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all.
Mrs. Melfi is predeceased by her sister Patricia Andersen.
She is survived by her best friend of 56 years and husband of 52 years, Kevin Melfi, Sr., three sons, Vincent Melfi and his wife Jennifer, Kevin Melfi Jr. and his wife Shanna and Christopher Melfi and his wife Melissa, six grandchildren, Vincent, Christopher Jr., Dominick, Paul, Anthony and Hailey, brother, Charles Maraldo and his wife Linda and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4-8PM at the Waitt Funeral Home, Morganville, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 10:15AM at St. Clement's Church, Matawan. Burial to immediately follow at Marlboro Cemetery, Marlboro, NJ.
