Peggy J. Bostic, 75 of Bellville passed away on June 26, 2025, at The Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon, OH. She was born on January 29, 1950 to Donal L. and Pearl M. (Andrews) Bird in Zanesville, OH.
Peggy formerly attended the Palmyra Church of Christ. Peggy was a 35 year survivor of leukemia. She was an honoree at the 2012 Leukemia and Lymphoma Firefighters Stairclimb. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting lighthouses and visiting wineries. Peggy adored her children and grandchildren and always attended their events and activities.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Bostic; a son Jason A. (Jennifer) Bostic of Fredericktown, OH, a daughter Amanda J. (Terry) Shade of Bellville, OH; her grandchildren Madison, Jonas and Thomas; and a sister Nikki (Chuck) Sgandurra of Galena, OH.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Peggy's memory to the Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
Calling hours will be Monday June 30, 2025 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Dowds – Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 11:00am at the funeral home with graveside services to follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, OH.
