Peggy Jeanette Siegworth, 87, of Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 2:25 p.m. in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born October 3, 1937, Mrs. Siegworth was the daughter of William Wilson and Mabel Turpin.
In 1971, Peggy met Donald Siegworth at the VFW in New London, Iowa, and the two were married for 40 years until he passed away in November of 2011.
Peggy enjoyed crafting, crocheting, listening to her books, and shopping, but her favorite thing to do was to help with the Brookdale Waterview Court Store where she met some of her most special friends who quickly became family.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Amber; daughters, Pamela Diffee and husband Gary, and Teresa Byers; son, Mark Ross; grandchildren, Andy Krieger and Amy Blount, Justin Ross and Ashely Josey, Levi Diffee, Jason Byers, Sandra Ledford, and Kimberly Poston; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Kara, Alyas, Jayce, Cayleb, Caylea, Olivia, and also one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Siegworth was preceded in death by her parents, William Wilson and Mabel Turpin; husband, Donald Siegworth; sisters, Bonnie Dabarowski and Barbara Northcutt; brother, Jerry Wilson; and son, Mike Poston.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Brookdale Waterview Court and residents. Our family is forever grateful for all the friends and memories that were made there. Also, we are thankful to the Shreveport Fire Department, Willis-Knighton Emergency Room, and the ICU staff.
