Peter Anthony Tritz, 68, of Pflugerville, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2022.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 13, 1953.
Pete just celebrated 50 years of marriage on October 30, 2021 with the love of his life, Florence. She was everything to him and he enjoyed spending countless hours finding new ways to make her smile. Pete loved to watch movies and listen to music; especially his favorite band, Pink Floyd. Pete also had a passion for soccer, hockey, football and sports in general. Go Cowboys! After a long career in IT Management, he retired from FIC Insurance Group in 2009.
He is survived by his adoring wife, Florence; daughters, Yvonne Hay (husband Gavin) and Lisa Weiss (husband Corey); Grandchildren, Vivian Grace, Elise Angelique and Julia Margaret Hay, Cara Elise Weiss; mother, Mary Katherine Howe; sister, Diane; brothers, Steven, Robert and Thomas; brothers-in-law, Christopher Cronk, Wayne Cronk (wife Jennifer) and their son they lovingly named after Peter. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, dear friends and his loyal dog, Nubs.
Preceded in death by his father, Peter Tritz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Pete cared very deeply for children and animals. He regularly donated his rare blood type to help babies in need. His faithful buddy, Nubs, was always by his side. To honor Pete's memory, please consider a monetary donation in his name or a donation of your time to www.redcrossblood.org or your local Humane Society.
