Philip Bari Palmisano

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Philip Bari Palmisano, 63, of Bristol, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at his home.
Born on March 12, 1962, Philip was the youngest son of the late William and Freida (Wentland) Palmisano. A lifelong resident of Bristol, he attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Bristol Central High School. His passion for printing began at the Bristol Boys and Girls Club, where he learned typesetting early interest that led him to open and operate his own business, Palmisano Printing.
Philip was a man of many talents and deep passions. He had a rare gift for music, particularly the piano and the pipe organ, which he played with joy and kept in his home. He was also a classic car enthusiast, often found in his garage restoring one of his beloved vehicles, including a vintage Buick and Volkswagen.
He is survived by his two brothers, Robert Palmisano and his wife Mae, and William Palmisano and his wife Evelyn, along with a loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Among those who will miss him greatly are Bob Donatelli, Bobby Davenport, fellow printer Guy Aparo, Neil and Sherry Cyr, and his friends faithful golden retriever, Cooper who he would often sit for, and finally Dusty the fur ball cat companion.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Friends and family may call from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Philip will be lovingly laid to rest in West Cemetery alongside his parents, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, New England Chapter, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
