PATTEN – Philip Sherman, 82, died June 21, 2025, in Patten. He was born October 19, 1942 in Island Falls, the son of Donald and Norma (Lane) Sherman.
He was a Railroad Engineer from Bangor Aroostook Railroad. He would go to horse pulls, Blue Grass festivals, the Fryburg Fair, and gardening.
He loved to go and get coffee with the boys at 8:15 am every day, riding with his grandson, Cash, after having breakfast on Saturdays.
He is survived by one son Wendell and his wife Desiree, Sherman and their son Cash of Patten, one daughter Michelle Sherman and her husband Warren "Tiger" Suitter of Sherman; his special fishing buddy Marty Arbo, adopted family the Brooks Family, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his precious cat Halo.
He is predeceased by his father Donald Sherman, his mother Norma (Lane) Morgan and stepfather Rodney Morgan, his wife Judy, sister Camilla (Walter) Hunt.
