Philip C Weber

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Philip C. Weber age 75 at his home in Hilliard, Ohio surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends. Phil was born to the late Robert and Mary (Gilbert) Weber in Columbus, Ohio on July 18, 1950.
After graduating from Whetstone High School in 1968 he attended Franklin University studying business and finance. Phil joined the Ohio National Guard where he later joined the Columbus Police Department on November 14, 1974 until his retirement on January 20, 2001. After retirement Phil and Kathi travelled the United States by RV settling in Fort Meyers Florida where Phil worked for Lee Transit driving a trolley on the beach for many years.
Phil is preceded in death by his parents and brother Steve Weber.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kathi) of 43 years, twin brother Gregory (Dona) Weber, sister-in-law Marion Weber, niece Stephanie (Chris) Logan and their children Trevor, Cameron, Hope and Faith. Niece Heather (Eric) Gregg, their children Jonah, Nate, and Caleb. Niece Nadine Weber, nephew Tony (Ashley) Weber and their children Max, Motley, and Marlow; cousins Kim (Tish) Gilbert and Margo Washburn.
Special thanks to family and friends who visited and helped with care. Especially Sharon Booth, Jeff Middleton and brother-in-law Danny (Diana) McNaughton who sat by Phil's and Kathi's side and helped with outdoor outings.
Thank you to the Capital City Hospice team allowing Phil to stay in home with compassionate care from their staff. Special thank you to Cypress Church in Hilliard Alton-Darby Campus for their kindness and Christian love they shared.
Phil was very active, attending Columbus Police retirement functions, was a member of the Hilliard Moose Lodge#2236, Gold Wing Riders Association, fishing, golfing, bowling, taking cruises, visiting casinos and being a buckeyes fan. Phil and Kathi split their time between Ohio and Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street in Worthington.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Memorial Society of Columbus Police Honor Guard, 1000 North Hague Avenue, Columbus Ohio 43204.
