Ralph "Skip" Marino, 84, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away on August 24, 2025.
Skip was born In New Jersey on March 19, 1941, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his service, he had a distinguished career as an anesthesiologist, caring for countless patients with skill and compassion.
Outside of his career, Skip found joy on the golf course, a passion he shared with his son, Mark. The game was not just a pastime but also a cherished connection between father and son.
Skip was an enthusiastic storyteller who relished in sharing tales of his many exciting journeys through life. Social by nature and well-loved by many, he had a gift for bringing people in with his energy, charm, and humor.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jen Marino, and his beloved grandchildren, Kaylee, Justin, Mia, and Macy, as well as his great grandchildren, Myles and Callum. He is also survived by his former wife and lifelong friend, Rita Marino, with whom he shared many cherished years, as well as by his sister, Toni Kulcsar, and her husband Ed, and their children, John and Stephen, and his brother, Joe Marino, and his children, Penny, Mary, Paul, and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher, and his parents, Frank and Angelina Marino.
A service will be held to honor Skip's life at Lohman Funeral Home (733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach) at 10:30 a.m. on September 4th, with entombment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park (1425 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach).
