WALTER, RALPH J. of Waterford; September 22, 2024; age 66; Loving husband of the late Cindy; Cherished son of the late Karl and Lucille Walter; Dear brother of Ken (late Ann) Walter, Martin (Barbie) Walter, Wallace (Julie) Walter, Karlton (Darlene) Walter, Rodger Walter and the late Robert Walter; Beloved uncle of Eric, Julie, Michelle, Marcie, Scott and Nicole. Mr. Walter was a salesman for Micro Auto Paint and served in the United States Navy. He was a lifetime member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and past board member of the Oakland County Boat Club. He enjoyed golfing at the Pontiac Country Club and was a member of the Pontiac Waterford Elks Lodge B.P.O.E 810, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2887 and Shriners Hospital International.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 1100 Lone Pine Road, Bloomfield Hills. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. Guests are invited to access the funeral home via Airport Road and then traveling east on Pontiac Lake Road. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital, Accent Hospice or to the Oakland County Animal Shelter.
