Ray Lamanac peacefully crossed over into the arms of Jesus on February 6th, 2025 at the age of 71. A man with a heart for the Lord, Ray devoted his life to serving his family, his church, and the community. As a roofer and carpenter for over thirty years, he never met a stranger and was well-known for his willingness to help in any way he could. Ray worked hard to set an example of a life lived to honor and glorify God in all that he did.
Ray is now reunited with his dad, Hugh-Lee Lamanac. He will be forever missed by his wife of 53 years, Helen Lamanac, his daughter, Chrissy (Michael) McClellan, and his three grandchildren, Hunter, Georgia, and Quinn McClellan. His memory lives on in the hearts of his mom, Sarah Lamanac, brothers, Frankie (Marie) Lamanac, and Phil (Steve) Lamanac, as well as his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Clayton and Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 10th from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
