Raymond John Davidson Sr., born October 8, 1964, in Camden, NJ, passed away surrounded by love and cherished memories. Known affectionately as Ray, he was a devoted father to Christina Heinemann(née Davidson), Raymond Davidson Jr., and Nicholas Davidson, and a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren. He was also the dearest best friend of Robbin Bender, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond.
Throughout his life, Ray held various roles, but he was particularly proud of his time as an employee at RCA. His career reflected his unwavering sense of responsibility and determination. Beyond work, Ray had a fervent sense of justice, which he carried into his personal and professional relationships, including his efforts within the criminal justice system.
Ray was known for his outgoing and talkative nature, effortlessly connecting with those around him. His love for his friends and family was unmatched, and he deeply valued the relationships he cultivated throughout his life. Ray's vibrant personality, fun-loving spirit, and caring heart will forever remain in the memories of those who knew him.
A Memorial Mass will be held in his honor on Sunday, January 12th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, followed by a burial service on Monday, January 13th, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Cherry Hill for their important and impactful community work. Ray will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and friend, whose warmth and generosity touched countless lives.
