Renee Forest (nee Recker) was born on July 17, 1969 and joined the Lord on January 2, 2024 at the age of 54.   She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joseph and Ruth Recker who preceded her in death. She was the beloved wife of David and they raised their family together in West Chester, Ohio.   She was mother to Savannah and Grace. Step-mother (“Nay-Nay”) to Cassie, Chelsea (Cody), and Parker (Lacey). She was Gma to Isabella, Lucas, Emerson, and Charlie. She also shocked the world by becoming a loving dog mom to Rosie and Shiloh.   She was the cherished sister of Jim (Sandy), Tim (Lisa), Rob (Ginger), and Doug (Jill). Renee was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.   She was raised in Greenhills, Ohio with her siblings and many beloved family members. She graduated high school from Roger Bacon High School and still has many friendships that she cherished from there. She graduated college from the University of Cincinnati.    She worked at Recker and Boerger for many years before deciding to use that time to focus on her girls. On top of being a super mom, she spent many hours volunteering at her girls school, church, and impacted the lives of many other kids.   In 2012, she was diagnosed with brain cancer, but fought bravely for the last 12 years. During that time, Renee participated in the UC Brain Tumor Center’s, “Walk Ahead for Brain Tumor Discoveries”.   Renee was someone who couldn’t go anywhere without running into a friend and if she didn’t run into a friend, she made sure to make one. Renee lived a full and exciting life devoted to God, family, and friends. Her family will forever cherish the light that she brought into everyone's lives.   Services will be held at Hope Church in Mason, Ohio. The address is 4934 Western Row Rd Mason, OH 45040. A visitation will take place Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12 noon with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 pm. If you desire, the family has asked to wear Renee’s favorite colors, which were red and purple. A reception will be held at Wetherington Golf & Country Club immediately following the service to whoever is able to attend. The address is 7337 Country Club Ln West Chester, OH 45069.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the UC Brain Tumor Center’s, “Walk Ahead for Brain Tumor Discoveries'' under team Brain Forest/Team Renee in memory of Renee. All donations made will help further the advancement in medicine and treatments for Brain Cancer in the Cincinnati area.
