In Loving Memory of Richard AtencioApril 29th 1959– September 24th 2025It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard, who departed this life on September 24th, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS. He was forever 29.Richard was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man of deep faith. He lived his life grounded in his love for God and his family, which were always at the center of everything he did.He found joy in the simple pleasures of life-camping under the stars, swimming on warm summer days, and cheering on his favorite football team. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were opportunities for him to share moments with those he loved.Through every challenge, Richard carried himself with strength, grace, and unwavering faith. His sense of humor, his warm heart, and his deep devotion will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.He is survived by his wife Emma, his children, Brandy wife Kati, Jennifer, Taylor, and son Quentin. Grandchildren: Martin, Isaac, Kera, Isabella, Jack, & Luna. Sister Jeanie and husband Joe, sister Kathy, brother Toby, and countless other family members and friends whose lives were made brighter by his presence.A memorial service will be held on November 1st at Second Presbyterian Church, with services beginning at 10 AMThough he is no longer with us in body, Richard's spirit will live on in the lives he touched, the love he gave, and the faith he so deeply held.
