Robert Joseph DelFavero, 71, of Clarksburg, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on May 16, 1954, at Latrobe Hospital, he was the son of the late Angelo and Florence (D'Angelo) DelFavero. He grew up on Kiski Flat where he made many fond memories with his "Gazorch" crew.

Bob had a gift for taking his time, giving extra care, and finding joy in life's simpler, but most important moments.

Bob spent much of his career managing the Saltsburg Shop n' Save meat department, where his friendly manner was a fixture for the community over the years. In more recent years, he brought that same dedication and personal touch to Dixon Butchery.

He valued time with his family and friends: golf outings with his brother and friends as part of the Kiski Golf League, porch sits with his siblings for good conversation, quiet days fishing, and time at his camp in Potter County. A devoted Pittsburgh sports fan, especially of the Penguins, he often recorded the games to watch later when he couldn't watch them live. He enjoyed spirited Uno games with friends and always had time and a kind pat on the head for the family pets. More than anything, he loved finding time around the table with his wife and family.

Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Karen J. (Ball) DelFavero of Clarksburg; his daughters, Gina R. DelFavero of Clarksburg and Michelle L. (Aaron) DelFavero Kern of Washington, D.C.; his brother, James A. (Cathy) DelFavero of Saltsburg; his sister, Christina M. (Larry) Rokicsak of Clarksburg; his brother-in-law, Gary D. (Lucinda Fails) Ball of Clarksburg; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family. A funeral service will be held at Clarksburg Presbyterian Church, 18 Clarksburg Road, Clarksburg on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Duffalo officiating. Private interment in Conemaugh Township Cemetery.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and Concordia VNA Hospice, and to family, friends and neighbors for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Bob during his final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the church or to the the Li-Fraumeni Syndrome Association, P.O. Box 6458, Holliston, MA 01746. (www.lfsassociation.org/donate/).
