Robert J. Januska, 75, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
He was born on December 5, 1949, in Lakewood, Ohio, and had made Vermilion his home for the past 10 years moving from Avon Lake.
Robert was the proud owner and president of Superior Pneumatic & Mfg, where he dedicated 56 years of hard work, leadership, and innovation
An outdoorsman at heart, Robert found great joy in being near the water-boating and fishing on Lake Erie were among his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed hunting, taking golf cart rides through the woods, and building and working on projects. Above all, he loved his family and living life to the fullest.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kathy Januska; children, Michael (Angie Balbo) Januska, Molly (Shawn) Varga, and Megan Comley; grandchildren, Haley and Justin Varga, Riley, Taylor, and Elijah Comley; and his sister, Susan Turner.
was preceded in death by parents Lester and Janice (nee DuPerow) Januska; son in law, Craig Comley, and his sister, Sandy Armstrong.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Avon Lake Lakehouse, 32756 Lake Road, Avon Lake, OH 44012.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Shriners Children's Ohio, Office of Philanthropy, One Children's Plaza - 2 West Dayton, OH 45404.
