We regretfully announce the passing of our Beloved Mother Shirley Januska at the age of 88. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and spent most of her life in Berlin Heights, Ohio and moved to Zionsville, Indiana in 2014. We were so fortunate and blessed to have such a strong and loving woman to call mom and she will be missed by her 6 children and 7 grandchildren. Family truly meant everything to her! She was a force to be reckoned with and fought hard to the end. We lost our dad, Bernard Januska Sr in 1991 and mom become the center of our family. Holidays will never be the same! She loved to cook and bake ( Everything she made was fantastic!) and we will miss her incredible cooking because no one could do it like mom! She enjoyed gardening and her yard was always an inspiration for us all. She was an avid collector of cookbooks, magazines, glassware and depression glass. We all tagged along at garage sales and antique shops and all become collector's ourselves . She was passionate about history and passed on an appreciation and curiosity we all will continue to pursue. She also loved to travel and many of our most  favorite memories are road trips with the family and friends.   She is survived by her 6 children Kathy Fraley, Eric Januska, Patty Januska, Bernie Januska Jr; Kirsten Brogan and Lisa Januska. She had 7 grandchildren Heather, Russell, Alyssa, Ashley, Morgan, Lauren and Brandon. She was also close to her sister Sharon Dangerfield and her niece Mandy Eubanks and her cousin Bob Garrett. We have a large family (too many to list ) who loved her and we will all miss her terribly.   We are not having a service at this time but we will do a celebration of her life and take her back to Ohio in the springtime. We will announce that date in the coming months.
