Robert E. Lis, 69, of Clayton, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of LaVerne (nee Morrissey) for 48 years. Devoted father of Kristin Lis (Chuck Wood), Michele Lis and Colleen Lis. Dear brother of Matthew (Rita) Lis. Loving grandfather of Alissa Parry and Kyle Wood. Loving uncle of Ryan Lis, Jennifer Pierce (nee Lis), Miranda Baronett, and Connor Baronett.
Bob performed live music as "Beatle Bob" at local wineries, country clubs, and restaurants. He was able to pursue music as his passion after he retired from Fannie Mae (the Federal National Mortgage Association) in 2016. Bob was an avid cruiser and enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean with LaVerne, was an Eagles season ticket holder, a member of Clayton Elks Lodge #2132, a member of the Clayton Republican Party, and a parishioner and choir member of Our Lady of Peace Parish at St. Mary's Church. Bob enjoyed weekly card games and shenanigans with his Aberdeen neighbors at the Clayton Senior Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's R.C. Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown, NJ.
