Robert J. Meisinger Sr., 84, of Blairsville, passed away on March 4, 2025. He was born on November 12, 1940, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William and Ethel (Cunningham) Meisinger. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. A dedicated member of St. Martin's Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 15 years. He worked for Blairsville Machine Products Co. and PACE Industries while starting his own business, Robert's Remodeling. After retiring, Robert found great fulfillment in helping others by delivering mobile meals. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed woodworking and was an avid golfer, but his true passion was his family. He was a deeply family-oriented man, always placing them first. Robert was the last surviving member of six siblings. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mildred L. (Wheeler) Meisinger, his children William E. Meisinger (Donna) of Streetsboro, OH, Dawn L. Jibilian (Jack) of Oil City, Robert J. Meisinger Jr. (Kristie) of Blairsville, and Susanne R. Dettling (Shawn) of Derry. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Britni, Christopher, Rachael, Matthew, Bobbi, Nathan, Jillian, Evan, Samantha, and Sarah; and three great-grandchildren: Remi, Charley, and Otis. All Arrangements are private for the family and under the direction of McCabe Funeral Home, Derry. Online condolences may be made at mccabefuneralhomespa.com
