Robert "Bobby" O'Field

Robert (Bobby) Joseph O'Field, age 44, went to his Eternal Home on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at his residence in Jay, OK with his family by his bedside. He was born on December 26, 1979 in Jay, OK to his parents, Don Edward O'Field and Billie Jean Tennison - O'Field.
Bobby graduated from Jay High School the Class of 1999. He loved walking through town and visiting everyone along his walks. Bobby loved playing Indian Marbles and pitching rubbers with his family and friends. He was an avid OU Sooners and Kansas City Chiefs Football Fan and most of all a big FAN of the Jay Bulldogs! Bobby had a kind heart and would help anyone in need or just stop and talk with them for a while. He was known as a social butterfly on a daily basis, and if he didn't stop and talk with you, then you would always receive a wave and a smile while he kept on walking or sometimes, he would be driving. Bobby will be dearly missed by his community, family, and friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by his Material Grandparents, Tom and Ollie Tennison; Paternal Grandparents, Robert and Pat O'Field; Uncles, Alan Tennison, Randy O'Field, Robert O'Field, Jr.; Cousins, Calab Sims and Lakken Smith.
Bobby is survived by his parents, Don & Billie O'Field of the home; Brother, Larry (Dea) Backward and Jenny Sabel; 3 Nieces, Shelby Backward, Erin Deitrick, and Deanna Backward; Nephews, Hunter Backward, Leighlan Backward and Dallas Backward; One Great Niece, Addyshae Gingerich; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and a best friend Kenton Shotpouch, extended family and friends.
Bobby's Wake Service will be held on Monday, 6:00pm, May 20, 2024, at Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346. Followed by his family visitation to greet friends until 8:00pm.
Bobby's Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 2:00pm, Sycamore Springs Baptist Church, Jay, OK with Pastor Duke Pickup officiating. Followed by Bobby's Funeral Procession to Round Springs Cemetery, Eucha, OK.
Bobby's burial will be at Round Springs Cemetery, Eucha, OK.
