Robert served in the US Air Force for 37 years and an aircraft mechanic with the Department of Defense. He was an artist who enjoyed paintings and played bass guitar. He was a skilled carpenter and loved to build things around the house. He was a volunteer firefighter in Westampton in the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Leila (Tenhomaki); daughters, Tara V. Ostrowski and Dana E. Ostrowski and her fiancé Carmine Mancuso; granddaughter, Bella; brother, Bernard William Ostrowski (Irene); nieces, Karen De Mare (Pat), Denise Spiva, and Angela Spiva; nephews, Gary Ostrowski (Laura) and James Spiva; great nieces, Julia, Sarah, Amanda, and Olivia; great-nephews, Patrick and Erik.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 6th at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High St., Mt. Holly. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Dr., Westampton, NJ 08060, Best Friends Animal Society (www.bestfriends.org), or a charity of one's choice.

We are so sorry to hear about Bob´s passing. Our heart goes out to all of you during this time of sorrow and we pray you can find peace and comfort in the memories you shared. We will always remember him for his kindness and his willingness to do anything to help. My parents specifically remember him fondly and want you to know you are in their thoughts and prayers.

I served with Bob in the Air Force at the beginning of my Career. He´s a great man. I enjoyed his laugh. Prayers and blessings to his family.
