It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Rob" Redemann, Sr., who left us on August 15, 2025, at the age of 63 in Louisville, Kentucky. Rob was a cherished husband, an affectionate dad, a supportive brother, loving uncle, and a dear friend to many. His warm spirit and joyful presence will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
Born on July 29, 1962, to Louis and Bobbie Jean (Allen) Redemann, Rob brought light and laughter wherever he went. He was a man of many passions; whether it was watching the church channel, feeling the wind on his Harley, or enjoying a leisurely drive in his Biscayne, he embraced life fully. His love for nature was matched only by his love for his family, as he found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. His unwavering support for the University of Kentucky was a testament to his loyalty and zest for life’s little pleasures.
Rob was truly a jack of all trades, often lending his skills to friends and family alike. He took pride in landscaping and working on cars—activities that will surely carry on in heaven as he reunites with his beloved brother, Tony Scott Redemann, Sr., and friends Ronnie (Rondon), Eddie (Edrow), John, and Donnie (DG).
Rob leaves behind a loving legacy, including his devoted wife of 46 years, Ann (Dollie), and his three daughters, Tonya (Micheal), Melissa (Eric), and Ashley Renfro, along with his sons, Robert Jr. and Christopher. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Sissy (Tony Joe) Dunn, and his brothers Ralph (Kim) Darden, Burnett (Bob) Kitchens, and James (Vicki) Moore. The joy of his life comes alive through his grandchildren: Dyllan, Dylanney, Damon, Connor Scott, Janet, Kaylee, and Dakota, alongside nephews, Chad Redemann, Tony Scott Redemann, Jr., Coby Rowe; nieces, Heather Glasscock, Cheyenne Redemann, three great-grandchildren, a great niece, two great nephews, and a great-great nephew, including his fur-baby, Loki (Yoki) Redemann, along with many extended family and friends who will cherish his loving memory forever.
Family and friends are invited to honor Rob's memory during visitation on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., leading to his final resting place at St. Stephens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made in Robert’s memory to support them during this difficult time. To share your memories of Rob or leave a comforting message for his family, please visit the guestbook below.
