I am a former patient of Dr. Synder. I have had nothing less that the greatest respect for him. With the threat of breast cancer at the early age of 40, he ensured the best of health care services for me. I am now 66. My prayers are with the family for the lost of a very endearing doctor, father and husband. May god be with you during your sorrows

I met Bob when I was a pledge at the the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at UF when he was president of the chapter. I was so impressed by his ability to handle that responsibility while taking pre med courses. He inspired me and I can say that for all my Pi Kap brothers who knew and admired him. His work as a doctor was more than a career, it was a vocation, as was his vocation to his family and to Patti's care during her long illness. My condolences to his family. Jim Antista

I now live back in Australia and just heard of Bob's passing. I have only the best of memories of his medical care, not only in relation to breast issues, but most importantly he performed a delicate surgery on my parathyroid, like - as he said - finding a needle in a haystack. His surgery was life changing for me. He was always so personable, concerned, and positive. We need more docs like him. My thoughts are with his family at this time.

I was a young med-surg nurse at TMH and he was absolutely one of our most favorite surgeons to work with. He was always deeply respectful of our staff and caring and gentle with his patients. He was also the surgeon of choice by many nurses when they needed a personal surgeon. You could tell he loved his family more than anything as he was always bragging about them to our staff. I have nothing but the fondest of memories of Dr. Snyder.
