Robert E. Struthers

Robert E. Struthers, 91, of East Falmouth, MA, formerly of Arlington and Winchester, MA, passed away on May 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia M. (Dobbins) Struthers with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage.
Robert graduated from Fitchburg State College and received his master's degree at Boston State College. He was a graphic arts teacher at Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield, MA for over 30 years, and was an adjunct professor for Northeastern University. He was passionate about making an impact on his students lives and preparing them for success in the future. Robert proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War.
Faith, God, and family came first in Robert's life. Nothing brought him more joy than having his family visit down the Cape and reminiscing with them around the kitchen table. He was an avid golfer, and Boston sports fan. He loved music, especially Frank Sinatra, and playing the piano for his family. More than anything, Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, and he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Patricia Struthers; his seven children Bobby Struthers, Marianne Wojichowski, Richard Struthers, Thomas Struthers, Jack Struthers, Diane Asaro, and her husband, Frank, and Julie Somorrostro, and her husband, Bono; his son-in-law, Stephen Duran; his 18 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his three daughters Patricia Struthers, Ann Duran, and Joanne Struthers; as well as his son-in-law David Wojichowski.
