Robert J. "Bob" Tersinar

Robert J. "Bob" Tersinar, 83, of the Walnut and Hepler areas, passed away on December 20, 2022 in the Girard Medical Center in Girard, Kansas.
Robert was born February 22, 1939 at 7:50 p.m., to August and Ruth (Van Duker) Tersinar of Farlington. He graduated in 1956 from Girard High School.
On December 25, 1960 he married Sonja Anderson at the Christian Church in Hepler, Kansas. She survives of the home. Bob is also survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Karla) Tersinar of Hepler and Gary Tersinar of Mounds, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings, a brother Kenneth (Mary) Tersinar of Girard, and sisters, Patsy DeLange of Girard and Margaret (Steve) Hoyle of Surprise, Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his brother-in-law, Phil (Shirley) Anderson of Heavner, Oklahoma.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, John and Doris Anderson of Hepler; a nephew, Todd Anderson.
Cremation has been selected. Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 16, 2023 in the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard
Memorials in his honor may be made to the Hepler Ruritan Club and the Hepler Rural Fire Department and these may be left at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
