Robert Paul Tier

Robert Paul Tier, 62, of St. Augustine Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 18, 2025, following a brief illness. Born in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, he was a 1980 graduate of West Hazleton High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 1984.
On October 12, 1985, he married the love of his life, the former Jill Seifert. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this October.
Bob was the proud owner and operator of The Party People, Inc., a business he founded in 1990 and continued to run from Florida. During the COVID pandemic in 2020, he also worked at Woodchuck's Furniture in Jacksonville, remaining there until early 2025.
Bob truly loved life at St. Augustine Beach. He cherished traveling to Pennsylvania to visit family, trips to Ocean City, NJ, and visiting Walt Disney World - especially his favorite attraction, The Haunted Mansion. He was also a devoted dog dad to Noelle and Clancy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Carl Tier, and his brother, Anthony Nicholas Tier.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jill S. Tier of St. Augustine Beach; his son, Benjamin David Tier of Portland, OR; his mother, Theresa Mary Tier of Hazleton, PA; his brother, Michael John Tier and his wife Sharon, and their daughters, Niki and Carly; and his sister-in-law, Linda Tier, and her sons, Nick (Kerry) and Matt (Diana).
A celebration of Bob's life will be held later this summer.
