Robert Tyler "Robbie" Watrous

Robert Tyler "Robbie" Watrous, 39 of Bonita Springs, FL left our present company to live out eternity worshipping Jesus on Sunday, July 9, 2023 during a courageous fight with cancer.
He was the most humble larger than life person - quietly pouring out his life helping everyone he was able from Uganda to his Bonita neighbors. He loved traveling, learning new languages, and spreading the love of Jesus by tangibly touching people's lives and finding ways to meet their needs. That included a vanilla business to create jobs in Uganda, time in an orphanage in Bolivia, and taking in the homeless in SWFL.
He sought to live out Deuteronomy 16:20 "Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, that you may live and possess the land which the Lord is giving you." and we are sure the Lord welcomed Robbie with a "Well done good and faithful servant".
Together with his wife, he was the owner of Southern Coast Fireplaces in Naples. He also found joy operating his excavating business, Southern Coast Land Services.
Robbie loved being in the water, free diving and lobstering but the true loves of his life were his wife and 4 children.
He was a lifelong resident of Southwest Florida and had lived in Bonita Springs for the past 6 years. Robbie was born August 7, 1983 in Fort Myers, FL the son of Thomas "Ted" Watrous and Sandra K. (Brinson) Jeffcoat.
He was a graduate of Fort Myers High School and earned his associates degree at Santa Fe College.
Survivors include his loving wife, Katherine Ellen (Fox) Watrous; cherished children, Kaydam Fox-Guiliano (11), Andres Fox-Guiliano (8), Winnifred Watrous (5) and Lillian Watrous (19 months); father, Thomas "Ted" (Sue Weiss) Watrous of Fort Myers, FL; mother, Sandra "Sandy" K. (Eric) Jeffcoat of Wilkesboro, NC; sisters, Katie Watrous of Orlando, FL and Ashley (Scott) Parsons of N. Wilkesboro, NC; step-brother, David (Jennanne) Davenport of Plant City, FL; and in-laws, Richard K. (Ken) and Caryl Fox of Put-In-Bay, OH.
A celebration of Robbie's life will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 11am at Summit Church Estero, 19601 Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
