Robert Steven Winn

Robert Steven Winn, known to his friends as Steve, age 78, of Zionsville, passed away at his home on Monday, April 28, 2025. Steve was born on September 7, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN to the late James Robert Winn and Charlotte Langsford Winn.
He was a 1964 graduate of Lawrence Central High School and proudly served his county as a United States Marine. On February 5, 1966, he married the love of his life, Donna J. Allen, who survives. Steve owned his own business, Worthy Construction, building custom homes and remodeling.
Steve loved the Lord and his family and friends! He attended school functions and sporting events with his grandchildren who he adored. He was a regular at the Zionsville McDonalds where he would sit in the company of his many buddies drinking coffee. Steve would spend free time working in his garden and his flower beds and feeding the hummingbirds. He attended hotrod cars shows where he was able to receive many trophies for his 1974 Chevy pickup. Steve would volunteer to deliver food to the Neighborhood Fellowship church and had attended church at Zionsville Fellowship for many years. One of Steve's favorite places to vacation was with friends at Norris Lake in Tennessee where they would boat and enjoy many laughs together on the deck.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Donna J. Winn of Zionsville; two daughters, Stephenie Franco (David Franco) of Westfield and Renee Gamberg (Shey Morehead) of Zionsville and son, Steven Winn (Andrea Emeish) of Markleville; grandchildren Bailee, Joe, Sophie and Mike.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Winn (Father), Charlotte (Langsford) Winn (mother), John Winn (brother), GraceAnn Berry (Sister), Dorothy Knartzer (sister), Jimmy Winn (brother).
Surviving siblings Rosemary, Susan, Marilyn, Patti, Barbie and Joe.
Celebration of Life for Steve Winn will be at Zionsville Fellowship Church, 9090 W, Oak St., Zionsville, IN 46077, on Monday, May 19, 2025. Calling will be from 2-4 and memorial service at 4PM with Military Honors to immediately follow.
