Born on December 2, 1960, in Potsdam the son of George and Mary Alice (Fobare) Carr. Roger was employed in sales working for Kuenzlers Dairy Equipment in Norwood. On May 3, 1986, he married Linda Dafoe at St. Mary's Church in Waddington. He enjoyed spending time at his camp, and he also enjoyed riding his side by side with family and friends. Roger genuinely enjoyed people, he was kindhearted and hard working. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Sylvan Falls Hunting Club and the Flower Hill Club.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Linda, a daughter Laura Carr, of Waddington, son Matthew R. and wife Jennifer Carr of Waddington, a grandson, Cody Carr, step grandson Matthew Smith of Waddington His siblings, Linda Reimer of Madrid, brothers, Larry Carr of Waddington, and George and Patricia Carr of Highland, NY. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Per the family's request in lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial donations in Roger's name to Waddington Rescue Squad, American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge 237 East Ave. Burlington, VT 05401 or Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, 6805 US Highway 11, Potsdam, NY 13676.
