Funeral services for Terry Roger Davison will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Drew Kirtley officiating. In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated following the service under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Terry Roger Davison, son of the late Robert Leroy "Bob" and Glenda Joy (Parker) Davison, was born on June 7, 1952, in Alva, Oklahoma, and passed away on January 30, 2025, in Alva at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 22 days. Roger graduated from Alva High School and went on to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He started his career at Thilstead Electric and then dedicated 30 years of service to AT&T before retiring.
In 1980, Roger married Deborah Sue Morland in Alva, where they made their home. Aside from a five-year period in Ponca City, Roger lived in Alva his entire life.
He was a dedicated member of the Alva Moose Lodge, the Alva Elks Lodge, and the National Rifle Association. In his free time, Roger enjoyed fishing, bowling, hunting, and reloading. He was especially devoted to his family, cherishing time spent with his grandchild.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents and a baby.
He is survived by his two sons, Russell Davison and his spouse Myles Denman of Denton, Texas, and Robert Davison of Denton, Texas; his brother, Ronald Davison and wife, Myra, of Alva; his sister, Renita Heinrichs of Alva; and one grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Colon Cancer Research.
