Roger was known for his strong devotion to Christ, his love for his family, and his silly sense of humor. He enjoyed working on computers and had a passion for airplanes, WWII historical films, and sci-fi cinema. Though he will be missed deeply by his loved ones, they take comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing in heaven in the arms of the Lord.
Roger is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rayetta (Cockrane) Finefrock; two sons, Jason Finefrock and wife Carolyn and Jeremy Finefrock and wife Josie; two daughters, Leanna (Finefrock) Williams and husband Glenn and Kelly Finefrock; nine wonderful grandchildren: Melissa, Cindy, Evan, Matthew, Sophia, Jonathan, William, Landon, and Jackson; two sisters Carol (Finefrock) Fast and husband Michael and Susan (Finefrock) Lenzkes; and one brother, Mark Finefrock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stacy & Wilda; one brother, George Finefrock; and one sister, Joyce (Finefrock) Farland.
A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, Texas with Bradley Shotts officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bradley R. Shotts and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
