Ronald Glenn Berry, age 85, of Fayetteville, went to be with our Lord on July 4, 2023. Ron was born on August 27, 1937 in Fayetteville, AR to Ellison and Lillie Woody Berry. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Hinkle and Evelyn Bennett.
Ron received his BSBA in Accounting from the University of Arkansas, and was self employed with his own bookkeeping and tax practice. He was a lifelong Razorback fan, and a Bible teacher for more than 60 years. An early fascination with Eschatology led him to spend more than 50 years in an intense study of the subject. He held numerous seminars on the Book of Revelation and was a published author.
A commercial pilot and former president of Full Gospel Businessmen, Ron was an accountant by profession and an amateur theologian by choice. He enjoyed traveling around the world with his wife and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his wife of 27 years, Anabelle Steelman-Berry of Fayetteville, AR; his daughter, Lisa Little of Little Rock, AR; his daughter, Kelley Whitehead (Ted) of Fayetteville, AR; his daughter, Leslie Thieman (Kevin) of Denison, TX; his son, Brian Berry of Fayetteville, AR; four grandchildren - Ryan Thieman (Emma) of Richardson, TX; Sarah Thieman of Denison, TX; Brandon Martin of Vance, AL; and Collin Whitehead of Fayetteville, AR; his great-granddaughter, Avery Johnson of Brookwood, AL; his stepson, Charles Steelman (Sunshine) of Fayetteville, AR; and step granddaughter, Freyja.
Visitation will be Friday, July 7th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home, 206 West Center St, Fayetteville, AR with a funeral service Saturday, July 8th at 2:00 pm at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice or the Animal League of Washington County.
