Ronald Frank Clark, 72, of Woolwine, VA, entered into his heavenly home on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 20, 1953 to the late Frank Clark and Ruby Elgin Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Clarence Overby; father and mother-in-law, Warren and Agnes Shuff, sister-in-law, Pat Shuff; and brother-in-law, Reverend Douglas Shuff.
Ron worked at Bassett Furniture for 45 years, and at the time of his retirement he was the Director of Credit. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rebecca (Becky) Shuff Clark; two daughters, Andrea Hooker (Tim) of Patrick Springs, and Felecia Haymore (David) of Stuart; two grandchildren, Damian Beasley (Alyssa) of Prince George, and Hannah Smith (Aubrey) of Bassett; sister, Phyllis Overby of Stuart; brother, David Clark (Donna) of Lawsonville, NC; brother-in-law, Bennett Shuff of Woolwine; sister-in-law, Dorcas Shuff of Woolwine; brother-in-law, Barney Shuff of Yukon, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Ron loved playing golf, riding his John Deere lawn mower, and watching his favorite grandson and granddaughter excel in their achievements. If you knew Ron, he was a man of many words but “SUPER” was his favorite. He was very proud of and dearly loved his family.
Funeral service for Mr. Clark will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Samuel Leonard and Pastor Douglas Shuff Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Moody Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
