Ronald TenEyck Sr., 70, of Fonda, NY, passed away on January 7, 2025.
Born on May 2, 1954, in Amsterdam, NY, Ronald was a lifelong resident of Fonda. He was the son of Robert TenEyck Sr. and Barbara Derby. Ronald proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and attended Fonda Fultonville High School.
On July 22, 1989, he married Kelly Wiltey, and together they built a beautiful life and family. Ronald is survived by his wife, Kelly, and children: Becky Leotta (Mike), Ronald TenEyck Jr., Mindy TenEyck, Sara Musto (Anthony), Duane Mathias, and Carrie Wolford (Brent).
He is also survived by his brothers: Robert TenEyck (Melissa), Howard TenEyck (Cassie), and Frank TenEyck (Charlene); his sisters: Jennie Blanchard (Bob) and Brenda Burega; and was predeceased by his sister Donna Pierce and his grandson, Skyler Olmstead, who was not only his grandson but also his best friend. Ronald was a proud grandfather to Marissa, Casondra, Ryan, Matthew, Lexie, Jessalyn, Logan, Tayler, Chayce, Landon, Mariano, Mason, Jaxon, Rayna and several great-grandchildren.
A passionate outdoorsman, Ronald loved fishing and hunting and spending countless hours enjoying nature.
Ronald will be cremated, and while no formal services will be held, a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Family and friends will gather to honor his memory.
Ronald will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will live on in our hearts.
