STOW - Ronald L. Wilkinson, 87, passed away on March 28, 2025.
Ron was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved Jeanne, his wife of almost 50 years, and his family. Ron graduated from North High School and had a long career with Ohio Edison.
Ron was an avid golfer, whether with his sons, grandsons, or his North High School buddies. He also coached football, played racquetball, and even ran two marathons. He enjoyed watching the Cavs, Indians, Browns, and especially "Gunsmoke" with his beautiful wife. He could fix anything, build a lot of things, and was a pretty handy guy to have around.
Most of all, people know Ron for his generous heart. He was always looking for a way to help others or pay it forward. He had a heart to bless people whether that person was a friend, a waitress at one of his favorite restaurants, or even the Summa nurses who cared for him in his final days.
We will miss him greatly but know we will see him again one day with Jesus. What a glorious day that will be.
Ron is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children, Jackie (Carroll) Burrows, Mary (Matt) Hindle, William "Bill" (Susan), Tom (the late Nancy) Miller, Kim Miller, Robert (Diane), and Frank (Arlene) Miller; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, as well as siblings, Bonnie Supes and Roger Supes.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 1 PM, at Stow Cemetery, 3162 Kent Road, Stow 44224.
In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Ron's memory by blessing a friend in need, server, or hospitality worker with a little extra generosity.
