Ronald Yarman Obituary

Ron was a hardworking and dedicated father. He worked at Zeolla Construction for over 20 years. He loved working with his hands whether it was remodeling his home or helping a family member with a project. Ron was a loved and respected member of East Erie Assembly of God for over 30 years, where he served as a trustee, worship leader, and youth group leader. He was always using his God-given talent and love of music to bring light to others. Ron volunteered at Harborcreek Youth Services and the Erie City Mission. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Ron had a creative side to him, he learned cake decorating from his mother, and even had the honor of decorating his daughter's wedding cake. He had a quick wit and enjoyed making others laugh. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his former spouse, Cherie Yarman; children, Nickie Robertson (Derek), Ronald S. Yarman Jr., and Ryan Yarman; grandchildren, Bryson, Brayden, and Brentyn Robertson and Kyrin Yarman; and brother, Ralph E. Yarman Jr. (Bobette). Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his sisters, Connie Smith and Carol Rutter.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 18th at East Erie Assembly of God 2653 Saltsman Rd. Erie, PA 16510 from 4:30 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 5:30 pm. The Dusckas Funeral and Cremation Services Harborcreek is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Erie Assembly of God 2653 Saltsman Rd. Erie, PA 16510.

I heard your name very often when I was young being as you, my mother (Louanne) & my cousin (Mark) were good friends growing up.
Years later to see you walking into Chuck E. Cheese with a good friend of mine (Laurie) hit me like a ton of bricks.
Time is something most of us take for granted.
Medical condition left me unable to attend today. Rest easy Ron
