Roy A. Barrows

Roy A. Barrows, 67, of Auburn, passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, after a long decline in health.
He leaves his sister, Christine Larson and her husband Glenn, of Flagler Beach, FL and Worcester; his sister-in-law, with whom he lived, Glenna Barrows; his nieces and nephews: Andrea Wilson and her husband Carl, of Auburn, April Perez and her husband Marc, of Auburn, Alex Larson, of Worcester, Robby Barrows, of Auburn; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. Roy was predeceased by his brother, Robert Barrows (2023); and his parents, Robert E. Barrows (2018), and Joan C. (Menard) Barrows (1994).
Roy was born in Worcester, and raised alongside his siblings in Grafton, where he attended Grafton High School. He worked as an independent contractor for many years, and was well-adept in carpentry.
A free spirited soul who loved music and performing with his acoustic guitar and harmonica in local coffee shops and open mic nights, Roy touched the lives of many through his passion and kindness. His many years at McDuff's Music in Worcester connected him with local artists that formed bonds that lasted his entire life. Roy loved the outdoors and often sought the solitude of a fishing pole and line at many of the local waters.

To celebrate Roy, family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life, which will be held from 3 to 7 PM on December 6, 2025 at The American Legion Post 92 at 69 Worcester St. Grafton, MA. There will be an open mic and the family would love for Roy's musical friends to play.
