"Sandy" Baldry, age 75, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, while surrounded by her family at her home. A Celebration of her life is being planned and will be announced later.
Sandy was born on May 11, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas to James and Kay (Marrapodi) Siglar. She grew up in Independence Mo. and graduated from East High School. She went on to obtain her Nursing degree from Penn Valley Community College and had worked as a Registered Nurse at Hospitals in the Kansas City area for 38 years. She enjoyed cross-stitching with her friends and turned that hobby into a business. She loved crafting an had a store on the Independence Square called, "Grandma Had One".
Sandy loved to travel, and had been to England, France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Most recently a return trip to Switzerland for a 7-day Rhine River trip ending up in Amsterdam. However, day trips with her closest friends were some of her fondest memories. She loved the beach and Sanibel Island was her favorite destination. All her life she enjoyed time with friends and family and documented them with more pictures than one could imagine.
Mom will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. She will be joined in heaven by her mom, Aunt Carmella and friend Diana.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son Brian Baldry, sister Debbie Davis, brother Dan Siglar nephew Brett Davis and 2 great nephews Graysen and Levi.
