Born on August 14, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, Sandra was the beloved daughter of Grady and Reba (Messner) Henderson. After graduating from high school, she married her soulmate, Dennis Challenor, who preceded her in death in 2000. A devoted homemaker, Sandra took immense pride in caring for her family and created a home filled with love, warmth, and kindness.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons: Dale Challenor, Dennis Challenor, Francisco Challenor, and Tim Challenor; ten cherished grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Integrity Funeral Service & Cremation was entrusted with the arrangements.
