Sandra Elaine Rios

Sandra Elaine Rios, 36, of Ventura, California joined our lord on the morning of December 21, 2022. Born August 7, 1986 to Joe and Teresa Rios in Oxnard, California; She graduated from Buena High School in 2004 before earning an Associate's degree from Ventura College and a certificate of completion in the culinary arts from Oxnard College. In addition to her academic successes, she was an esteemed water polo player at both Buena and Ventura College.
Sandra lived life with vigor and gratitude for those around her. Prioritizing above all her family. She loved spending quality time with them while adoring and cherishing every moment with her children. On weekends, you would undoubtedly find Sandra at various sporting events in support of her nieces and nephews. She was a lover of all things creative, especially anything culinary related. Baking and making dishes for countless functions was on the top of her list of passions.
Sandra enjoyed all things outdoors. Camping, hiking, rock climbing, family beach days, barbecuing and so much more. These occasions were filled with her infectious smile and laughter, of which will be dearly missed, but always remembered and cherished.
Sandra, our beloved daughter, loving sister, adoring partner, and supportive friend is survived by her parents, Joe Ralph Rios and loving mother, Teresa Maria Rios (Sanchez); the love of her life, Joseph Billy Hernandez; daughter, Jade Avaleene Banuelos; son, Billy Maximus Hernandez; sister, Jennifer Marie Alarcon and husband, Daniel Alarcon; nephews, Marcus Rios- Aguerto, Kaleb Alarcon, and Jericho Alarcon; sister, Danielle Renee White and husband, Jimmy White; nephew, Lucas White; brother, Joey Anthony Rios and, wife Stephanny Rios; niece, Daisy Rios; nephews, Joe Rios and Christopher Rios, all of whom reside in Ventura, California.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the medical staff of VCMC, CMH, Coastal View, and to all that provided love, care, and support during this time.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass to be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 10800 Henderson Road Ventura, on Saturday January 14, 2023 at 12:00 pm with Father Marco Reyes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura. Reception to follow at Biederman Hall located at Sacred Heart Church.
