Sandra Spidle

Sandra Ann Spidle, born on November 8, 1947, in the Panama Canal Zone, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Bolivia, NC, at the age of 77. Sandra's life was a testament to warmth, generosity, and an inspiring spirit that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
For 30 years, Sandra dedicated herself to her work at Ford Motor Credit in Fayetteville and Raleigh, NC, where she was known not only for her professionalism but also for her kindness and dedication to helping others. Her career was marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence and a genuine desire to connect with those around her.
Sandra's love of life extended well beyond her work. Her flower gardens were her sanctuary, a place where she nurtured beauty and found peace. She cherished time at the beach, where the sound of the waves brought her joy and serenity. Sandra believed there was never a wrong moment to gather with loved ones, often hosting "porch parties" where laughter and love flowed as abundantly as her boundless hospitality. Her heart was as vast as the ocean she adored, and her gentle spirit and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Family was the cornerstone of Sandra's life. She treasured every moment spent with her two daughters, Dori Maultsby-Nehilla of Supply, NC, and Robin Spidle of Shallotte, NC, whose lives are a testament to Sandra's loving guidance and nurturing spirit. Her legacy continues through her two cherished grandchildren, Ryan Maultsby and Michael Nehilla, and her great-grandchildren, Byorn and Ella Rose, who will carry forward her values of love and kindness.
Sandra's affection extended to her beloved cats, Oscar and Roxie, who were constant companions and brought her much joy and comfort.
Though no formal services are planned at this time, Sandra's family invites all who knew her to remember and celebrate her life in their own special way.
